You can tell a lot by the title of the book – Evvie Drake Starts Over. After all, it’s the reason why we picked up the book. We wanted a character to cheer for and show us how to start over even if it’s only fiction. Well, we got that and more.

If you want a delightful light read that’s not a YA novel then this one’s for you. The characters are adult and they deal with things more realistically. There’s no “unnecessary” drama. If you like charming, quaint settings then this one has it too.
