Sushi plus Pizza equals Rice & Dough

We visited the have yet to be fully opened Venice Grand Canal Mall over the summer and decided to give Rice & Dough a shot. There were already a number of restaurants that were open during our visit but we decided that a sushi and pizza bar would be a good place to start our would be first of many food trips there. Since the place was still in soft opening, we expected that there would be shortcomings.

We can hardly taste the truffle in their Truffle Fries. While the Grilled Chicken wrapped in Bacon and the Stone Cooked Tenderloin were not bad, it wasn’t all that great either. Having said that, we liked their Caesar’s Salad and really liked the Jungle Roll, Jurassic Ebi Roll and Marga & Rita pizza.
