Tokyo Eats: Butagumi Dining

One of those things on everyone’s to eat list when in Tokyo is Tonkatsu and one of the most famous places that serves the best, the best according to many people, gourmet Tonkatsu is Butagumi. Now the original Butagumi is not so accessible so when Butagumi Dining opened in Roppongi, we’re thankful that we can now get a taste of it more often. We went on an off peak time during our recent visit so there was no line and the place was not full of people but we were still seated in the middle of two occupied tables which is really okay especially since one of those tables were occupied by two tourists who ordered a lot. Not to sound creepy but eating with people who have healthy appetite, even when they are strangers, certainly adds to your own excitement while waiting for your food. That said, we ate our orders with gusto as soon as served.
