While the book delves into the idea of a life filled with limitless possibilities, what it truly is about is embracing the present. How this message is presented in a way that will make a mark on the reader is what makes The Midnight Library a delight to read. It can seem repetitive but our take is that there’s a point to it. For us, it heightened the realization towards the end that no matter how hard we try to change the past and plan for the future, the only thing we can really do something about is today.
