Stay at the Heart of Barcelona: Hotel Praktik Essens

The newest property from the Praktik group is located right next to El Nacional which means you can do all the drinking you want next door and still be assured that you’ll be able to find your way back to your room easily. The fragrance theme is such a big bonus for those who love personalized hotel toiletries because they let you choose a scent from among four upon check-in. Apart from the obviously freshly painted rooms and newly bought furniture and amenities that’s inside it, we also really liked the study area and the terrace for when we had to do a bit of work, get some reading done or simply want somewhere to lounge around when we’re not walking around the city. The hotel is also very near Casa Batllo and La Pedrera so we get to pass those two Gaudi masterpieces every morning during our morning run before the throng of tourists starts to crowd around the entrance area. There are so many good things that we like about this hotel and we’re lucky to have stayed here during our first time in Barcelona. We’re definitely coming back and staying here again, hopefully soon.
