Postcards from Takatsudokyo, Japan

Japan is one of those countries lucky enough to be blessed with scenic views no matter what season it is. This time around we chose to go out of the city and found ourselves enamored by Takatsudokyo Gorge in all its autumn glory. Before spending an hour or so just savoring the stillness of the place with the sound of the gentle rustling of waves as the soundtrack to our entire stay, we also got to enjoy the views on and off the trolley trains of the Watarase Keikoku Railway.
