Postcards from L'Escala

In the following weeks, you’re in for a very special treat as we bring you a beautiful series of features on one of our favorite foreign destinations – Spain!

We begin this week with L’Escala. An hour and a half away from Barcelona is a small fishing village called L’Escala. When here, it’s a must to try anchovies. This town is famously known as the source of one of the finest anchovies in Spain. It’s been written that the ancient Greeks brought the salting tradition to this region.
