Papa Bolo: Worth the Drive to Tagaytay

A bit of a trivia we found out while on our way to the restaurant was that the name Papa Bolo was derived from the legendary name of Tagaytay or “Taga, Itay!” based on a lore that a father and son on a wild boar chase was suddenly attacked by the animal.
We think though that a possible fun Gen Z take on the name Tagaytay is “Tagay tayo!” and this we say after an afternoon spent trying out their different in-house beers paired with their version of the famous bulalo and other pulutan specials.
The place is huge so there are a lot of pockets to claim as your own where you can chill so plan that drive to Tagaytay now and make that essential stop at Papa Bolo.
