A visit at One Corner Coffee and Beyond (@onecornerph) will make you at least interested in coffee if you’re not really into it or will make you love coffee even more if you’re already an avid coffee drinker. We attended one of their sessions wherein the friendly owners showcase how the different coffee makers work by actually brewing coffee. When we asked if most of the people buy something right away after these sessions, the owners said they actually encourage people to really think about it before making a purchase because they know it’s an investment that also entails commitment. They even have an area where customers can try brewing coffee themselves so they get a feel of the coffee maker they are planning to buy. Now that’s how you show genuine care for your customers and respect for the craft.

They also do micro batch roasting and have a bean-on-demand service. Talking about beans (and supporting local), they sell locally sourced Mt. Apo beans.

This is definitely one corner of the city you have to visit and include in your where to go when in Davao list.
