Lampara: A Traditionalist’s Modern Filipino Food

Here’s the thing about us, we super love Filipino food. No matter how many Michelin starred restaurants we’ve tried, we will always be partial to Filipino food but we have to admit that every now and then we crave for updates. This is probably the main reason why we claim that Lampara is for traditionalists too. Located across 5880 Enriquez Residences in Poblacion, the place was filled with a mix of families and friends spending a weekday evening after what could have been a pretty long day but it never felt weird to be drinking the night away right next to kids. It’s almost automatic to pair Filipino food with beer but in Lampara the best sellers can be perfectly paired with cocktails and even wine. The design and details feel both homey and trendy, one would never feel out of place here so it’s no surprise to feel a kinship with strangers. Now you can’t get any more Filipino than that.
