I want to die but I want to eat tteokbokki by Baek Sehee
As a bookend to our special series on Korea this month, we’re recommending this Korean bestseller as our book for the month. We’re not big fans of tteokbokki but as foodies we completely understand why food can temporarily steer you away from dark thoughts. More than just the catchy title, we also found that the structure of the storytelling made the pages very easy to read. The topics covered, which were all intimate, were also discussed in a very relatable way.
