Davao Eats: Golden Brown

If you’ve been to Davao, you’ve probably seen the long lines in every Patok sa Manok branch you will pass along as you walk by or drive by. Golden Brown Specialties is the mother company of Patok sa Manok. Emblazoned on their wall at their original branch, it proudly states that Golden Brown is the home of Davao’s first roasted kitchen. With that kind of pride in their past you are sure to be guaranteed that the rest of the items in the menu are cooked to home cooked perfection but for the mass market so it’s like eating off a good home cooked buffet. Their chicken though, is really something else, so make sure to order that first.
