Candlenut: World’s First Michelin-starred Peranakan Restaurant

We haven’t been to Dempsey in three years so our first impression when we got there was there are so much more restaurants and shops now. As soon as we entered Candlenut, we immediately felt at home which is always a good sign.

We decided to try the tasting menu, which changes monthly, for all the adults in the table but they allowed us to order à la carte for the kids. It’s pretty affordable, and worth it if we may add, at 128 SGD considering how the menu was curated. We splurged on two bottles of wine though since one wasn’t enough.
