Bukidnon's Kaamulan Festival

Bukidnon’s Kaamulan Festival

According to Bukidnon’s official website, the festival comes from the word “amul” which means “to gather.” While the festival might not be as popular as the other festivals in the country, the locals especially the different cultural groups who live in the area never fail to gather in Malaybalay around the same time every year (February to March).

Kaamulan Festival is a beautiful reminder of the beauty our country’s indigenous culture. Here are some photos from this year’s festival taken by one of our contributors from Mindanao, Keith Bacongco. You can also check his website bacongco.com to see more of his works.
