Barcelona Open 2024: Watching a Legend

Tennis is one of those sports that we follow closely. We are also big time Rafael Nadal fans. As the reality of his retirement becomes more real, we decided to troop to Barcelona and watch him play in one of his home tournaments. It’s one of our best memories of 2024 so we’re writing about it before this year ends. Barcelona Open is one of the smaller tournaments which also means that courts are smaller hence we get a better view of the players and the matches.

It was so surreal seeing Rafa play and win. His unwavering passion to give it his all for every point is such a joy to watch and an inspiration. The general atmosphere of the tourney is very fun and not so crowded. There are activities for fans of all ages. The tour merchandise items were also nicely designed. We count ourselves lucky and we are hoping to still see more of Rafa in the coming years. Vamos!
