Balesin Islander: Poolside Restaurant that serves Filipino Goodness

When you have no time to go out of town to enjoy the beach, the next best place to be in is an empty poolside. We were lucky enough to have been able to do just that one long weekend at the Balesin Islander located at City Club in Makati. It’s a members only place but if you do find a member who can bring you there, do yourself a favor and say yes. There’s a play area for the kids and the pool doesn’t get too crowded plus they serve good food too. We loved the ambiance so much that we spent almost an entire afternoon having long lunch and then a leisurely dessert and chat time afterwards.
