Around Sydney: Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk

Undoubtedly, one of the most famous coastal walks in the world is the Bondi to Coogee Walk. We’ve done it several times but then realized that we have never shared our experience here. Whether overcast or on a clear day, we’ve always loved walking or running this route. Here are some helpful tips. We recommend coming out early on a weekday to avoid the crowds. The whole way through can be tiring so pause and take time to appreciate the views every now and then so you get some respite. Also, make sure you have water with you or a bottle since there are water stations along the way. Wear comfortable shoes. There’s also no need to finish the whole route. You can choose to make one of the beaches along the way as your final stop for the day. The top step where you get a full view of the Waverley Cemetery is one of our favorite spots but that’s just simply one of the many.
