Around Balesin Island Club: Mykonos, Toscana and St. Tropez
On one end of the island is the picturesque and, I must say since the infinity pool is the coolest spot in the island to hang out, happening Mykonos. Spent some of my hours in a day reading a few chapters of my book at the poolside while being entertained by K-pop songs courtesy of a Korean group on one side and EDM on another side as played by a Filipino barkada. But since I prefer a mostly serene atmosphere, there was one time I spent over half a day at the deserted Toscana. Imagine having a whole Itlalian villa to yourself with just the sound of the waves and birds chirping as accompanying music while leafing through pages of your laugh out loud book. The flavorful crepes at St. Tropez are so yummy that even though we already had breakfast there during our second day, I still opted to have a solo dessert on our third day before taking a dip at the pool which sits across the restaurant.
