Anxious People by Fredrick Backman

This one is a page turner for so many reasons. For one, we’re partial to Backman’s way of story telling. There’s something in the way he structures every chapter that makes the flow of the plot so smooth no matter the number of characters in the book. It helped a lot that each character had an interesting story to tell. More than interesting, there’s a chance that the reader will be able to relate to one of the characters or at least certain aspects of one or a number of the characters. The book is humorous but also poignant and very compassionate.
