A Special Rundown of Davao Coffee Houses
As a Kadayawan special treat to our readers, here’s a rundown of three coffee houses in Davao City. We made sure each of our featured cafes offers a different experience so you can choose one that feels a whole lot like the kind of experience you want or if you have time then you can go to all of them too.
Glasshouse Coffee is located near the city center which makes it the easiest to get to. It’s also the most pricey and most of the time it is crowded. The ambiance is still pleasant though especially in the evenings and there are a lot of things to see considering it’s only a small space.
Wood and Coffee is the farthest from the city center however it is worth the long-ish drive because it also houses the Gil Bumanlag Gallery. That said, apart from enjoying delicious coffee and pastries, you will also get a chance to see artworks. There are also a lot of nice nooks and corners overlooking a relaxing area filled with trees.
Cafe Prelaya is located off the city center but is still easily accessible. It’s just a small cafe with a limited menu almost similar to Glasshouse Coffee but they have a bigger area so it’s a nicer place for big group hang-outs especially when the weather is good.
