The Best of Me by David Sedaris

This is such a treat for David Sedaris fans. We picked this copy from a second-hand bookshop in Barcelona and didn’t mind that it would be heavy considering that it’s hard bound. We like how the author finds humor in almost everything but without actually reducing the magnitude of a situation or event. It’s a matter of giving us another perspective. In this book, you can sense in the writing and the stories being told the growth of Sedaris as a writer and as a person too.
