Postcards from Daejeon

Daejeon at night or during a sunrise walk at Hanbat Arboretum is beautiful as captured in these photos. Apart from soaking in the breathtaking views, visiting Sungsimdang is also must. It was the first bakery ever included in Korea’s Michelin guide more than 10 years ago. Try the red bean paste filled bun that’s covered with dark chocolate. The beans were soft with just a hint of sweetness. The bun was buttery and hefty. The dark chocolate complemented everything very well. It is the perfect companion while walking along the river.
