Robata by Chef Alexander Sebastian: Bringing Japan to Mindanao

Robata is taking over the Japanese cuisine scene in Mindanao as it has now three branches located in Kidapawan, General Santos and Davao City. At its helm is Chef Alexander Sebastian who decided to fulfill every chef’s dream of opening his own restaurant after sixteen years of working abroad. We were impressed during our first visit and our goal is now to try all the items in their menu but to start with, here are all the things we ordered. Hopefully they can find a way to consistently serve good food even if Chef Alexander is not around since we’ve heard some feedback that on some days it’s not as good. This is a normal struggle for restaurants and we really hope that Robata will find a way to address this.
