The Authenticity Project by Clare Pooley

This book is somewhat reminiscent of the movie Love Actually in the sense that it is filled with inter-connected stories that will either make you want to be part of it as in weave your own story into the maze or just feel incredibly lucky to have been a witness to the lives of the characters.

We felt a mix of both at varying degrees at different parts of the book. To start with, the premise of sharing the truth to strangers shared on a notebook hoping the person meant to pick-it up will do so is already very intriguing. The sense of community would also be something that might hit a chord to a lot of people especially during this time of the pandemic.

Regardless of what you’re going through these days, and we know a lot of us are struggling, it is just really nice to be reminded of the value of authenticity whether that be recognizing one’s ultimate worth or the joy in finding your own truth.
