Davao Eats: Annipie at The Farm

Annipie’s cinnamon rolls is no doubt one of the best, if not the best, but it’s accessible since it has a lot of branches scattered around the city so we had to think about going all the way to the Partoza Durian Farms to get our fix and simply enjoy the view. It’s a bit far so we hoped it would be worth the one hour drive (without traffic) from downtown.

We arrived early without a reservation so they still had a table for us. It is best to make a reservation though especially on weekends since the place is very popular these days. It was hot but windy, definitely a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. The Seafood Marinara, Chicken Teriyaki and Carbonara were good but the Spanish Caldereta and Hickory Smoked Pork could have been better. And of course, nothing beats freshly baked cinnamon buns for dessert. We left when it became too crowded to the pint they had to take out banigs so that other patrons can eat picnic style. It’s actually a fun way of enjoying food with the family but only if you’re really up for it. You can also even buy fresh produce before going home.

So yes, it was definitely a good idea but because of the distance we know we won’t be back as often as we’d like to.
