Flame: Dining with a view of the Makati Skyline
On the 16th floor of Discovery Primea is a nice space for a quiet lunch or dinner while enjoying a good view of the Makati skyline. Flame’s design is modern but very homey. It did get a bit too sunny while we were having lunch so we had to request for the blinds to be rolled down. After that was done, everything else went smoothly. We think the Paella “Meatballs” paired with the Crispy Pork Belly Doughnuts for appetizers was a good call although we expected the pork inside the donut to be more crispy. The Parmesan Ricotta Ravioli was a simple delight while the quirky presentation of the “Take Out” Lobster Fried Rice did not disappoint. We’re not big fans of Tiramisu but Flame’s interesting take on this classic dessert was worth a try.
