Singapore Eats: Starter Lab
We were a big bunch composed of kids, kids at heart and sandwich loving adults when we went in early on a weekend. At first we thought it would be impossible to get a space for all of us to sit together but a kind couple moved to another table to make room for us. We ordered a lot and even ordered more of the items we really liked. We’re not exactly sure if it was the ambiance or just the company but somehow the posh toasts as some articles would put it tasted really yummy. Well, one of the owners, half-Filipino Emerson Manibo worked at NYC’s three Michelin-starred Per Se so for sure he picked up a lot of things there that he made into his own.
