2016 Summer Special: Treehouse by Taal Lake (Kapusod)

TAGAYTAY, because of proximity, remains to be the go to escape place of people from Manila but recent developments are slowly eating away the provincial charm of the place. Lucky for us that we found a place that lets you enjoy a beautiful view of the Taal Lake minus all the crazy traffic and weirdly placed high rise buildings.

Treehouse by Taal Lake offers a rustic and no-frills experience but is the best vantage point to wake up to an amazing sunrise or wrap up your day watching a surreal sunset. Far from the array of restaurants that greets you at every turn of its busy counterpart, here you get to enjoy freshly prepared meals from local produce courtesy of the caretaker
Ka Betty. Our favorite was, of course, the Tawilis. Right next to it is the Pusod Taal Lake Conservation Center where you can learn more about the efforts to save the environment specifically the area surrounding the Taal Lake.
