2016 Summer Special: Pearl Farm Beach Resort
In one of our earlier features we did a rundown of some of the best resorts we like going to in Samal Island. Included in that list and the most expensive among the three featured was Pearl Farm Beach Resort.
We recently re-visited one of our favorite getaways whenever in Davao to get a bit of weekday respite. If your schedule permits, going to beach resorts on weekdays is a sure fire way to get some peace and quiet.
We practically had the place all to ourselves. My niece had whichever pool she decided to swim in all to herself. Occasionally, someone would join in but most of the time she was alone. And she loved it. I like doing work whenever on vacation because that’s when my mind is clear. Usually I answer emails or write in the comfort of the baclony of the room or villa but since the clubhouse was empty for most of the day, I got to do it there with far more stimulation than being confined in a balcony.
There was no waiting in line for the shuttle or the speedboat going to
Malipano Island. We had time for late night workout during our first day so we were able to use the gym and again we were the only ones there.
Best of all, the staff was top notch combining distinct southern hospitality with utmost professionalism. The breakfast spread reflects the rich harvest available in that part of the country. Even the all day menu boasts of delicious best sellers including the Margherita pizza, Kakanin Trio and even the good old adobo.
There are other choices of resorts around Samal Island but nothing beats the kind of bliss that Pearl Farm Beach Resort offers.
