Legazpi Market on Sunday Summer Weekends
One Friday lunch we decided to eat at Torch since it's the newest restaurant to open in Greenbelt 5.
We rely on word of mouth a lot and so far what we've heard from friends and family are mixed reviews not far form our actual experience. The venue is welcoming using as much of natural light but there is of course the usual downside of the entire place feeling like an oven without the blinds down.
The food was also a mix of good and bad. The steak was okay but the tapa was really good. The sea bass wasn't perfectly cooked but the fries tasted like real potatoes but just with the right crunch. Maybe we're a bit biased because we really liked Mr. Jones which used to occupy the same spot but we don't think we'll drop by Torch again anytime soon. Maybe when they're fully operation already we can give it another try.
