franco's a new name to remember in power plant
I like the old Myron’s. I remember spending quiet afternoons working on presentations or finishing deadlines there. It never gets very busy so I’m able to concentrate.
On the business side though the fact that it never gets busy is not good and I think the main reason for that is the expensive items in the menu. This could be the reason why they decided to re-brand to Franco's.
For Christmas dinner with my best friend Grace and her boyfriend Dex, we decided to try it out even though they were only in their soft opening. I am happy to report that the prices are now friendlier though the choices still seem interesting.
I suggested that we should order anything with meat since Myron’s is known for good steaks so I assumed that they would have a trusted supplier for meat.
True enough, we ended up very satisfied with the beef stew, barbecue spareribs, burger and salpicao. The serving is for one person but we all tasted each other’s orders which ended up more fun although for my part I think I got a good size of ribs that it actually took me a while to finish it off.
For dessert though, we weren’t so happy so next time we’ll make sure to order something else than the cake. Over all this is a new place we welcome with open arms to be part of
