A Sneak Peek of Kyoto
During our latest trip to Japan
we decided to venture out of Tokyo, ride the bullet train, and explore one of the most popular areas of the Kansai region which is Kyoto.
We were only there for two days so we covered as much temples as we can without missing out on the good eats and the sights and sounds of Gion and the areas lined up on both sides of the Kamo River.
If there's one temple you shouldn't miss it should be the Kiyomizu-dera. Along the way to there we also saw Yusaka Shrine and the Keninji Temple. We also checked out Kinkaku-ji and relaxed a bit in the Zen Gardven of the Ryoan-ji Temple before heading out to Nijo Castle. We'll do a more in-depth feature on Kyoto when we come back and visit again sometime soon. In the meantime if you have some questions about any of our trips/travel features or want more information, just leave a message through our Contact Us page. As you will see in some of our comments on our Facebook page, we are always happy to help you give tips or answers to specific questions.
Here are some photos from our very packed two-day visit to Kyoto.
